Forge Hardware Trading Hours
We are open Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm & Saturday 8.30am - 1.30pm
We also offer 24/7 self service pick up available to trade customers with registered trade accounts. When selecting this option at the checkout page, once the order is ready, a code will be recieved for access to the front door, a locker number and code for locker access. -
What type of warranty does Forge Hardware offer?
Our range of Frameless Shower Hardware comes with a period of Seven (7) years warranty from the date of invoice, unless otherwise specified.
Our range of all other Frameless Glass Hardware comes with a period of three (3) years warranty from the date of invoice, unless otherwise specified.
The warranty does not cover damages caused by improper installation or lack of maintenance.
Forge warranty will only cover the product replacement or refund. Forge Hardware will not be liable for any additional costs.
If identical part is not available, a similar part will be supplied, or refund will be provided.
To claim a warranty, original proof of purchase must be provided with the defect products being returned.

What is Forge Hardware's return policy?
At Forge, we stand behind our products! That's why we offer a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee.
If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you can contact us within 30 days of taking delivery, and organise to return the product in its original packaging and condition, and receive either a store credit or refund of the purchase price of your product (excluding initial delivery charges and a re-stocking fee). The re-stocking fee for these products will be 10% of the original purchase price. Where a product specifically excludes returns under this policy, no returns under this policy will be permitted.
To Avoid being charged the 10% restocking fee - you can receive your refund as a store credit. When checking out, simply apply the credit to your new purchases. -
Does Forge Hardware supply glass?
Forge Hardware proudly supplies Australian made pool fence glass panels. The glass panels we supply are of standard 1.2 meter high, include a wide range of fixed panels, gates and hinge panels. We also offer competitvely priced, customed size pool fence glass, if they are to be purchased together with stock panels.
Forge Hardware does not usually supply glass panels for shower screens individually. But if purchasing in conjuction with hardware, we are able to source these products and can give you the option of either having your glass and hardware delivered or picked up from our partnering glass factory in Oakleigh.
Forge Hardware can source large project quanities of pre-made glass panels, which are manufactured in our factory overseas, with lead time. -
What is the delivery timeframe?
Forge Hardware offers same day dispatch on all orders placed within business hours. You will recieve tracking information shortly after placing an order.
Depending on your location and the freight option selected, will depend on the delivery timeframe. Once you input your address into the check out page, the delivery options and timeframes will be displayed for you.
We offer Express and Premium delivery options.
For metro VIC, Express shipping is usually 1-2 business days.
For metro NSW, QLD, ADL & SA, Express shipping is usually 2-4 business days and Premium shipping is 1-2 business days.
For metro WA, Express shipping is usually 3-6 business days and Premium shipping is 2-4 business days.
We also offer same day delivery with UBER! Please call the office before placing the order if you require Uber delivery. -
How much is delivery? Does Forge Hardware offer free shipping?
Delivery will be automatically calculated based on the weight of the items being purchased and the address they are being shipped to. Once you have selected all the items and input your address at the check out page, the delivery cost will automatically be calculated.
Yes, Forge Hardware offers FREE DELIVERY for purchases over $350 for metro areas, excluding WA. When you are on the check out page and have entered your delivery address, an option for 'Free Economy Shipping' will be available for you to select.

Does Forge Hardware offer samples?
Forge Hardware does not offer free samples but there are some options available for someone wanting to purchase samples.
If you are a retail customer wanting to colour match existing tapware to one of our colours in our range, we would suggest purchasing one of our SB10SQ as a sample, which will give you a good indication of the colour and if it will match your exisiting tapware.

If you are a trade customer, we would recommend purchasing a sample book with a complete range of brackets for your future references. The sample book is $1 and it is an empty book that showcases 10 of our brackets. To complete the book, you will need to purchase your choice of 10 of our SB10SQ brackets to fill the book. We will fill the book to your specifications and add corresponding labels to the colours chosen, for you.
We may be able to offer a discount for a complete purchase of a sample book. If you wish to apply a discount code, please email or call the office before ordering. -
Urgent Order? We offer UBER delivery!
Forge Hardware offers uber delivery.
If you need hardware urgently, we can assist with getting it to you promptly and quickly with uber delivery.
When placing order, please call the office and advise delivery address so we are able to calculate and add the delivery charge to your order before you check out. -
How do I order online from Forge?

Is there a showroom available?
Forge Hardware shopfront and warehouse has a small showroom/window display available for customers to view some of our products.
On display is our colour range of shower hardware, shower door set up with hinge display and glass pool fence and gate, showcasing our spiggots, latches, hinges and rigidy clamps.

Vertical Water Seal for doors
We do not stock Vertical Water Seal for doors.
We only stock water seals that are to be applied to the bottom of a shower door. They come in 750mm lengths suitable for 6mm or 10mm glass only. -
Half Round lengths
Our coloured half rounds are available in 750mm lengths only .

If you require a longer length bar, it is advised to either;
Purchase two bars and place them next to eachother, cutting one to size to fit the door length
or
You could opt for using a clear half round. These are available in lengths of either 1 meter or 650mm.

Do I need to set up an account with Forge Hardware?
Anyone can purchase from Forge Hardware using a credit card or paypal account without signing up for an account. However, if you want to purchase on an ongoing basis, we have credit accounts available for trade based customers.

Can I shop products by a particular finish?
We have a feature available on our website which allows you to view all products for a specific finish e.g. for frameless showers, you can shop polished chrome, satin chrome, matte black, brushed brass and brushed nickel. This makes it easy to find the products you need.
